Style Collective – Giraffe Review

One of our favourite places to visit and keep up with what is happening in the fashion world is Style Collective.  It is a fabulous spot featuring so many interesting and exciting things, not just those for kids.

This month the Style Collective Team reviewed our giraffe rattle and here is what they had to say:

Stand-out features…
The first thing that came to mind when opening the Ollie Rose package (which came delightfully gift wrapped) was how perfect it would be as a gift for a newborn. The rattle is made from bright fabric featuring interesting patterns to stimulate the senses, and the addition of little ribbon tags makes for interesting play for little hands. Tested out by an adventurous 8 month old, it appears that our little giraffe enjoys a good slobbering and is tough enough to withstand the test of a teething tot! The firmness of the rattle is also a plus for teething time, and the fabric weight is heavy enough to ensure a long lasting product.

Overall Experience…
The workmanship in our Ollie Rose Giraffe Rattle was wonderful, and we were most impressed by the choice of fabrics available; but best of all, you can’t go past the charm of a handmade product and as far as independent designers go, the Ollie Rose range won’t disappoint.

A little bit of warmth and a big bit of cute!

Our Ollie Rose scarflettes are back! Just enough to add a touch of warmth and look oh so stylish. Made for toddlers 2 and up they add that extra snuggly layer around the neck. Wear over sweaters and coats.

Ollie Rose Stockists

It is school holidays here in WA and so Jemma has come up for a visit and to help out with Ollie Rose.    It has been an interesting week as we have some lovely new stockists and have been very busy completing their orders with three kids running about.

Some late nights have been had and plenty of  cups of tea and chocolate to keep us going, but it will be very exciting to see our rattles in some stores gorgeous stores around Australia and also in New Zealand very soon.

We are in love with these pretty whimsical dresses we are now stocking. Such floaty light 100% cotton fabric. It is  hand block printed in India using traditional techniques by a company that provides a model of ethical and sustainable business practices.

The fabric on this wrap dress reminds me of a beautiful Oilily or Room Seven print and the style is funky too!

We are overwhelmed with their poplularity and they are madly being cut, pinned and stuffed as I type! ( Well ok not quite as I type…..I like to think I can multi task but I am not quite that clever!)
